Programs May 2026

AARP – Driver Safety Renewal Class – Irv Kaplan, AARP volunteer trainer and villager will again offer the Renewal class on Tuesday May 5th from 9:30 until 1:30 in Sequoia. Cost is $25.00 and  is limited to 25 attendees. Sign up online at vmavillages.vgcc.club or call 408-238-4029.

A Planned Death: Another Option – Jim Van Buskirk with Final Exit Network (FEN) is a regional coordinator counseling people on end-of-life options.  Jim will present this topic on May 6th at 11:30 AM in the Cribari Conference Room.

Simplifying Healthy Eating – Jan Liband a nutrition and sustainability expert will discuss food basics to achieve disease-free living. Monday May 18th at 1:00 PM in Montgomery Center.

Hearing Screening – Hearing Life will conduct free hearing screenings in Montgomery center Tuesday May 19th from 10:00 AM -Noon.  Please call 408-238-4230 to register for an appointment. Clear Captions will also be available.

Support Groups April and May 2026

Grief Support Group: The support group begins again with Pastor Bill Hayden on Monday April 27th in the Sequoia room at 10:30 AM- Noon.  Work booklets for the group  are available in the Chapel office.

Caregiver Support Group: Judith London Ph.D. conducts this monthly group where caregivers meet to share, listen, and learn. Nextmeeting is Thursday May 21st at 10:30 – Noon in the PATIO room and via Zoom. Please contact Judy for all meeting specifics @ judithlondon@sbcglobl.net or call 408-784-3325.

Parkinson’s Support Group:   This monthly group is for all people interested in Parkinsons. The next meeting takes place on Thursday May 28th at 10:00 AM in the Patio room. No need to register, all are welcome.
